Cat-wing with a POP !

Hello earthlings !!! How are you doing? Hope everything's fine :D

I'm back with another post and this time it is about "Face Of The Day" (or in this case, more of eye instead of the face). Nowadays, you can see it on magazines, fashion runway, photo shoots, beauty gurus etc. all sporting this kind of eye makeup -- Cat-wing with a 'POP'. This look is great for Spring / Summer. It's considered fresh and very IN. 

I was inspired to re-create this look when I watched Monika Blunder did a tutorial on it. She is, of course, a makeup artist and a YouTuber. She did this makeup on Karlie Kloss for MTV Movie Awards 2013 and recreated it with another model for her viewers to look at. 

I honestly had a hard time doing this eye look because I SUCK AT DOING CAT-WING ! and plus, I have major hooded eye going on there. People tend to say that hooded eyes are very difficult to work with but I think is more of the technique that is being applied. Nonetheless, I did try and VOILA .... 

Though I still need more practice in perfecting that cat-wing but I did a good job there (Okay! need to stop self praising myself there huh?!) For those, makeup newbie that hates applying eyeshadow, this a good one to start with!

I did not use the exact product that Monika Blunder used on her model. What I did use instead is The Body Shop Liquid Eyeliner in black and Catrice Kajal Kohl Liner in "Too Cool For Pool".
