Velvet Lips ... Ouh Yes !

If you're a bright lipstick lover or someone looking for a budge-proof lipstick, then this post is dedicated to you !

I came across this when my favourite beauty guru, Anna from Vivianna Does Makeup raves about it. Anything that Anna likes, I have to get it. This came out last year. Only now that I decided to get it. Ouh well ...

It comes in 8 different shades. I got Hot Pepper and Pink Pong because both lipstick shades are Anna's favourite. When I reached home, I immediately tried it on. It applies quite glossy at first. The colour pigmentation of both shades were brilliant. Though, it is marketed as velvet, it dries fully matte but without drying out my lips. Since I have quite pigmented lips to begin with, I had to layer the product to get the actual colour payoff. No matter how many layers I add, the product did not streak or flake on me.

As to whether it last throughout the day or not, this bad boy over here, does ! I wore Pink Pong the other day (at home- where testing of products happen) to test it's longevity and boy, it last longer than I expected. I ate, did my housework and had a nap and the lipstick is there ! Pleasantly surprise by how long it can last despite coming from a drugstore brand. Removal of product from my lips was a chore. I had sore lips after that.

Rouge Velvet Edition lipsticks are the bomb ! Go get yours at nearest Watsons store now.

Description of shades:

Hot Pepper: Bright orange-red. Perfect for people with olive skin tone.

Pink Pong: Blue-based fuschia pink lipstick colour. Great if you have a tan.

Cheers,
xoxo, W :)
