What is your signature scent ?

People say that fragrance is the ultimate accessory. It is the extension of our style. Your fragrance of choice speaks for your personality. Finding your signature scent can be downright intimidating. Oh well, for those who have found theirs, lucky you. But for those who don't, fret not, I'm here to help ... Or try to help, atleast.

As you can see, I have a wide array of perfumes on my vanity and the reason being is that me and my mom are obsessed with perfumes. We can spend hours in the fragrance section in a departmental store sniffing away ! And yes, we share perfumes ! I don't think my mom has a signature scent. She likes to experiment rather than sticking to one scent. Whereas for me, I'm on a quest to find my holy grail perfume.

For those who are, like me, searching for the perfect scent, Here, I have some options for you to consider the next time you are in the fragrance section ...

Can we just appreciate how unique the B. Balenciaga fragrance bottle is ? A collective piece indeed. But how about the fragrance ? The scent is very fresh yet have this mysterious and unusual notes included inside to make us confused. I'm not sure if it smell herbal or minty. Ouh well, you either love it or hate it.

Daisy Marc Jacobs is a perfume perfect for spring / summer (though, if you live in SEA countries, then you can wear it all year round). I would describe it as floral and woody. Neither too strong nor too weak. Best suited for young women. If this was a song, it would have been "Not A Girl Not Yet A Women"

My birthday perfume circa 2013 was Gucci Floral 1966 (*LE). My first ever perfume bought with my own money and it was an indeed a very expensive purchase. A soft and intriguingly beautiful fragrance. Perfect balance of woody, musky, floral, earthy and sweetness all mixed in this stunningly gorgeous black bottle. This perfume speaks sophistication and class.

Ever heard of elegance in a bottle ? Yup and it is none other than Elie Saab Le Parfum. If luxury has a smell, it would have been this. Though it is loaded with floral notes, it still does not comes out has overpowering as I thought it would be. When you wear it, you feel classy and a very powerful women at once. I only whip this out when I have special occasion to attend. Oh, it can be worn day or night !

Looking for a dark yet mysterious perfume, then look no further because Bvlgari Jasmin Noir got you covered. Darn right this is a strong scented perfume. I'm not a huge fan of Jasmine but somehow I fell for it. It screams seduction. There is a subtle masculine touch to the perfume that makes it undeniably sexy when sprayed on. For guys who are into floral scented perfumes, I recommend Jasmin Noir. Personally, I feel that this perfume can be quite offensive for work. Did I mention that the glass bottle is very sexy ?!

I have always wanted a Chanel perfume because of the bottle. I didn't care if it smells nice or not. I just want the bottle to keep. Bottle aside, COCO Mademoiselle is a sweet scented fragrance with added citrus note in it. Never have I thought that I would like such perfume. Usually, this kind of scent is best suited for my shower gels. However, it has slight warmth added to the concoction. If the perfumer did not include that, I'll probably pour the liquid out and keep the bottle instead !

I would describe Lancome Treson in Love as fresh, light and airy fragrance with a hint of warmth added in, to give it that oompf. Perfect for first date.
