Arghhhhhhh! Jeffree Star Beauty Killer Palette is such a dream! I still cannot believe that I got my hands on this one. I got this at Carousell for $50. The seller bought it at around $80. I mean a 30 bucks off?! Of course I had to get it right?
The story behind this purchase was due to the fact that I was bored from studying for my exams. I was browsing through the Carousell app. Somehow, I came across this and decided to get it. I have been watching Jeffree's videos for months now and have become obsessed with his tutorial. With this palette, I can now pretend to be Jeffree!
I do not have many eyeshadow palettes to compare with this one, but I must say the formula is on point. Though some eyeshadows like Violence is a bit patchy. Overall, the texture of the shadows are smooth and blends nicely. Swatches above are without primer, and you can see how pigmented these shadows are except for Courtney as it looks like my skin but a tad bit peachy-er. As for fallout, like every palette, there will be one particular shadow/shade. For me this is not an issue because I can always wipe it off. No biggie:)
You can get your hands on this on the website here. Or if you're like me and can't be bothered with shipping, just look it up on Carousell. If you're lucky, you might get this palette at a cheaper price.
I would definitely recommend this even if you're not into bold/extreme eyeshadows. Do watch out for my upcoming Makeup Look using this palette! See you in my next post!
