Day 40 of 365: Childhood Revisted

Sure, you turned out pretty good, but is there anything you wish had been different about your childhood? If you have kids, is there anything you wish were different for them?

During my childhood days, my family suffers a lot (financially, of course) but even so, I did have a great one. If I have the chance to revisit it, I would :)

However, I wish that I could fulfill my childhood dream of becoming a ballerina (If I have the chance to revisit and change a portion of my childhood, I would do so). I did ask my mom why she didn't signed me up for ballet classes, her reply was that we had no money and that she doesn't really like the idea of me becoming a dancer.

Honestly when I was young I didn't watch ballet shows. But what makes me like ballet so much is when I see kids, my age (at that point of my childhood time) wearing white stockings with tutus and their cute little bun-up hair going to their classes. Sometimes, I would imagine myself as a ballet dancer. I would try to do the "Pointe" with my school shoes and holding the railings (for support) outside of my house corridors (how cute was I, huh!)

Sadly, that dream of mine was crushed.

But it's okay, I still turn out to be fine:)

Will I let my child fulfilled my dream of being a ballerina?

As much as I want my children to follow his/her dreams, but little teeny weeny part of me wants my child (preferably a daughter) to fulfill my dream of becoming a ballerina. If she says no, I'm fine with it, although I'll be sad but then who am I to force someone to do something they have no interest in, just so that he/she can fulfilling my dreams, right ?

Ouh well, that childhood dream of mine can only be imagine but not executed but it's okay, I didn't have a bad childhood to begin with :)

Till we meet again earthlings, xoxo :D !!!
