Hello there !
I'm back with another impression and this time it's the L'oreal Voluminous Miss Manga Mascara. I bought this because one of my favourite beauty blogger, Alix, from I Covet Thee loves this mascara and being a massive fan of hers, I wanted to try and see it for myself.
I bought mine on this website here. It only carries the non waterproof version. For your information, I much prefer my mascara to be waterproof has it won't budge and will hold the curl.
This mascara has a super wet formula, however, after using it for a week, it started to dry up a little which I'm okay with it because that's how I like my mascara to be. It comes with a bendy brush which I'm not a fan of. However, I do like the shape of the bristle because it tapers at the end (and of course, the bristle itself !). Due to its shape, it makes application of mascara to my inner corner lashes much easier.
Does it give that voluminous lashes ? Yes, indeed. However, what I don't like about it is that after a few coats, your lashes will start to stick together. It gets clumpier after each coat which I don't really like it. I much prefer my mascara to be clump free. Not just that, it even leaves your lashes looking spiky as well !
After a week of trying the mascara, I then realised that this mascara was inspired by the female manga character. If you don't already know, Manga is a Japanese comic book. These characters tend to have long, spiky, and extremely voluminous lashes ! A little slow in realising the fact eh !
I'm still having a mix feeling towards this mascara. There are days where I feel like I should amped up my lashes and this mascara does the job, but there are days, where I want my lashes to look subtle but still looks voluminous without clumping and this mascara just won't do it ! Maybe in the future, I shall try the waterproof version of it and I'll report back to you guys again.
Nonetheless, if you are looking for this kind of mascara or if you feel like trying a new mascara then, do give this a shot.
Have a great Sunday, little bunnies !
See you soon !
xoxo, W:)
