Day 102 of 365: NYX Tame & Frame Tinted Brow Pomade

In the look out for a new brow product ? Look no further, NYX recently released their version of brow pomade called "Tame & Frame Tinted Brow Pomade". I got mine off from a beauty website here for $15.

At first, I wanted to get the NYX Brow Gel, however, it was out of stock and so I continue scrolling the website until I came across this product. I've heard about the Anastasia Beverly Hill Dip Brow Pomade. However, here in Singapore, it's quite hard to get hold of it and if ever the Dip Brow is being sold here, it will definitely cost a bomb ! I really wanted to get a new brow product as I'm sick of my current one and so I make the purchase. 

Tame & Frame comes in 5 different shades. I looked up at swatches online and I was torn between the shades, Brunette and Espresso. At last, I chose Brunette as I'm afraid that Espresso will be too dark for me and also for the fact that I'm a brunette myself ! 

I have been using the Tame & Frame for almost a week now and I must say it gives me the most natural looking brows. Personally, I'm not one who would go after a strong sculpted Instagram eyebrows. I much prefer natural yet still looking quite bold kind of eyebrows. 

In the pot, the pomade has a cool-tone to it but once I've swatched it on my hands, it comes off has warm-tone ! I was shocked because I don't like my eyebrow products to lean towards the warmer side. Since I bought it, I've no choice but to try and use it. 

The texture of the pomade is creamy, smooth and easy to work with. The pigmentation, however, was quite disappointing. I have to keep building up to get the desired colour intensity that I want. Nonetheless, no matter how much piling, the warm tones of the pomade still look subtle on me ! Though the pigmentation was a let down, I must say that the staying power of this is bloody good. It stays all day without budging nor smudging !
