Budget Beauty Buy (Ep 5)

Ola ! I'm back again with another episode of Budget Beauty Buys. I will like to apologise that I missed out July's edition because I completely forgot to include it in last month's blog schedule and also, I didn't do much shopping.

Alright let's get on with it ...

Last week, I went to Far East Plaza to get some stuffs for my company's Dinner and Dance. My aim was to get the things and leave the place, but somehow I ended up at this beauty shop called PALZ. This was before I bought my stuffs. If you are wondering what kind of beauty shops are there in Far East Plaza, well firstly, they look nothing sort like Sephora and secondly, they stock up products (most but not all) that are copyrighted from the original beauty brands. Usually, these products are made from China. Occasionally, I will go to this kind of shops only to look around or when my mom asked me to get her a pumice stone. As you can tell from the picture, I bought a lot of things from PALZ.

Let's talk about the fake lashes. I was never fan of them before as I find it weird and heavy looking on the eyes. I did put on once for my prom and I hated it. A few months back, I bought a pack of lashes from Watsons. It was the Ardell Natural 110 in Black. I have no reason as to why I bought it. I just felt that my beauty stash was incomplete without a pack of fake eyelashes (or maybe a ton of it) even though I will never in a million years use it !

What makes me fall in love with them because the Ardell lashes didn't make my eyelids heavy. It looked natural on me and complements the eye look that I was wearing. That day, I can't stop staring at my eyes. So I decided to get more eyelashes to keep in my stash just in case I need to pop one ! Plus, it only cost $5.90 per pack. But if you buy 3, you'll get 1 for free !

Next, are the beauty blenders. For quite some time now, I have been looking around for cheaper sponges because I could not bring myself into buying the original beauty blender due to the hefty price tag. So when I saw this, it was a bargain. It cost me $14.90 and inside the pack, I got 2, one looks like a tear drop and the other is an oddly shaped sponge. Hopefully, it does its job like the original Beauty Blender.

Lastly, I got this on whim. It is an eye lash adhesive. I was succumb into buying it and also it was on 50% discount so I thought why not get it, right ?! The initial price of it is $9.90 after discount, it was $4.95

So yeah, that is all for my budget beauty buys for the month of August. I hope this will give you rough idea on what/where to shop/buy next ! If you bought something similar, do leave a comment.

Have a great week ahead !

Cheers, xoxo !
W :)
