American Apparel Nail Lacquers

When it comes to nail polishes, I rather go with bold, vibrant and in-your-face colour. Don't get me wrong, I still love my nudes but my preferences lean more towards those colours. 

Here I have with me is the American Apparel Nail Lacquers. I got mine when I was in Melbourne and it cost me AUD $2. Freaking cheap! Well, they were having sale at that point of time and so I stock up. 

I didn't know that Melbourne has American Apparel store. I only came to know while me and A were walking aimlessly. We went inside to have a look around. As we were browsing through, we realised that their clothes were not cheap. But being me, I wanted to get something from there because as you know, back home we do not have American Apparel store. 

So I was determined to search around till I find something within my budget. And then, the nail section caught my attention. I would not say they have a wide selection of nail lacquers but some of the colours were screaming at me. 

The five colours that I was attracted to were Hunter, African Violet, Summer Peach, Eclipse (from their Glitter line) and Clear. These nail lacquers have incredible pigmentation. Application wise was quite smooth except for Summer Peach though, it applies streaky. You can get away with only one coat but I usually go for two. The brush on it is amazing, makes application easy. As for longevity, it lasted for about 3-4 days (no added top coat) just like other polishes. 

So glad I got these! I wish I got more. Ouh well, next time then. Have you tried any of their nail lacquers yet? Do comment below.
