My In-flight Carry-on bag

Bonjour! How are you? Hope you're well. Sorry if I missed two weeks of blog posts. If you don't already know, I was away on holiday with my mom, aunt and cousin sister. We went to London and Paris. It was my mom and aunt's idea to go there for a holiday.

For today's post, I will like to share with you, what I brought along with me in the plane. For some of us, we like to bring everything we could possibly reach in the house, but for me, I like to streamlined things and bring only stuffs that are essential for me when being in the plane.

Being tall has it's disadvantage especially, if you are seated in the economy class (duh! I can't afford business class). You don't have much room space because 3/4 of it is covered with your legs.

Let's start with a pack of tissues. Well well well, sufferers of sinusitis will understand that a pack of tissues can be the bestest friend you ever had in your life. The temperature up in the sky and in the plane can be ridiculously cold. My nose will instantly become runny and flaky. It is disgusting, but I know some of you agrees with me on this. Who cares if the steward is bloody handsome, if you need to stick up the tissue up your nostrils, you just got to do it! Also, I noticed that whenever, I'm in the plane, my sneezing fits decided to pay me a visit so a tissue is helpful to cover my mouth and nose to prevent bacteria from flying out! You don't want to pass any of your germs to the other passengers right?

Up next is another library book. Whether you're on a short or long flight having a book on standby is a good thing. In a short flight, most of the time there is no in-flight entertainment and so having a book can keep you company. For a long flight journey, you do have in-flight entertainment, but after a few hours, you will get bored of it. Hence, a book comes in handy. Plus, I made a point in 2016, that I have to read at least 10 books. So far, I have read two books, now I'm on to my third. (Kudos to me!)

If you're me and lazy to charge your portable charger or your phone. Then do it on the plane. Nowadays people cannot live without their mobiles (says the person who wrote this post!). Having a low battery is like knowing you're going to die soon. Also, having a portable charger is a trend. So yeah, no time to charge, don't worry, charge it on the plane! (Ps: I'm not sure if portable charger is allowed on the plane, but I passed the security checkpoint so I guess you can bring it along on your carry on?)

Following that is my camera and lens. My most valuable items (besides my money, passport and phone of course). I have this fear that if I put my camera inside my luggage, I might lose it.You won't know what will happened in between. Better keep it safe with you at all times. This applies to other devices as well. You don't want to have a sucky vacation.

Have you ever wondered how many germs and bacteria are there in the plane? Even if you do want to know, better don't. Always keep yourself clean and by that, I mean bringing hand sanitiser along with you. In fact, this should apply in your daily life too. You do not know who touch what before, especially if you're in public transport. I have my fair share of seeing things that people did on the transport and it grossed me out.

Whenever you're up in the air, your skin auto dried up because of the humidity level. In order to keep the skin hydrated, always bring moisturising product with you. In my case, I brought my lip balm as well as a sheet mask. If you're an avid reader of this blog, you'll know that my lips need that extra TLC. As for my face, every time I get of from the plane, there will be this one pimple, waiting to emerge. A face mask does help in reducing this. It's strange to put a mask on, but trust me, it works and makes you feel fresh. My hands too get dried up so a lotion or cream can help to give that extra moisture.

Next up is my specs. It's not a good idea to wear contacts on the plane. As mentioned, being up in the air will dry up things and this includes contact lenses. Also, I do carry my shades inside my bag, this is mainly for after the flight. We all look grubby after a long haul journey, hence, a pair of shades can block out everything and it makes you look chic.

Second last item in my carry-on bag is a packet of sweets. I like to suck on this during takeoff because I hate the feeling of blocked ears. It's the worst thing ever! Urgh! Last item and the most important thing is, of course, my passport. You can't pass checkpoints without this.

What's inside your carry on bag? Leave me a comment down below!

See you on my next post!

W:)

PS: I did not managed to take a picture of my carry on bag because it tore apart. For the curious bug, it was a bucket bag.
