Out of whim, I decided to pick this one up while shopping for my basic necessities. I heard so many good things about it. And I get the hype surrounding the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Concealer... Well, anything that states "anti ageing" or "age rewind", I'm sold. Okay, that is besides the point.
I got mine in the shade Medium. It is way lighter that any other medium shades concealer out in the market. But I get why. It's because the purpose of this concealer is to brighten dull complexion. It's not too pink nor too yellow. Just right smack in the middle. It's creamy making blending duties much easier. You might wonder whether this is dewy or not since, I keep mentioning that it has brightening effect, well no it does not have. I would say that it sits under the 'satin' category.
I usually used my NYX Dark Circle Concealer first and then I apply this on top of it. Double concealing, bam! It has pretty good covering formula. I use it mainly for the brightening effect. With my fingers, I would dab the product in to the skin. It works well with fingers, brushes and sponges. You'll get the same effect either way.
The packaging, it's just a no-no for me! I mean that little sponge at the top though.. Really Maybelline? That tiny sponge is good however, using it for a long run and seeing it get all dirty/germy, is just urgh! Can you change the packaging pretty please~~~?
I got mine at CK store which retails for $21.90. If you go to Watsons or Guardian, it will cost you atleast $2-$3 more. Seriously, this concealer is the bomb.com!
