Affordable Concealer

I'm the sort that if I like that one product, I will keep using it until it finished but somehow with my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (CLPC) I was bored of it. I wanted to try something new. Something with a lighter coverage and good blend-ability. Don't get me wrong here, I still love my CLPC. I just want to change my concealer game, that's all. 

As usual, I did some browsing in the internet to look for affordable concealers in the market and NYX pops up in my head. I've tried some of their products and so I thought why not try their concealer. That's when I found NYX HD Photogenic Concealer Wand.

The product comes in a clear, sturdy packaging and has your typical doe-foot applicator. The consistency of this concealer is thick yet creamy. It applies smoothly on the skin. I got the shade 06 Glow. This particular shade is lighter than my skin tone and it's the closest match out of the 8 shades that they have. In total, they have 11 shades however, the other 3 are colour correctors. 06 Glow has a slight peachy undertone which can also act as a dark circle corrector. 

I normally use it after I applied my Dark Circle Concealer. Double concealing at it's best eh! This also can be use to cover up small blemishes and redness. However, I do not recommend using this to cover up big blemishes has it does not do the job well enough. 

Of course, after a few hours it starts to crease up just like other concealers out there. Considering the fact that I have an oily face, this last about 3-4 hours on me, not bad for an affordable concealer. However, one thing to note is that, this concealer tend to flake off if applied wrongly. So normally, I will use my fingers to dab the product instead of using the swiping method. After which, I then apply translucent powder to prevent "early stage creasing" and transferring of product.

If you want to get hold of this concealer, you can get it online at Shopping District or Sephora. I got mine at the online store and cost me $9.00. If you're on a budget then I suggest trying this out.
