Volume, Length or Meh?

Who else put high hopes in a particular product but ended up feeling disappointed after trying it? *hands up* Yes, me and a whole lot of other girls too!

I was expecting that this mascara do wonders to my lashes as the name suggest, get BIG lashes volume boost. You would think that it lives up to the name but meh, it did not. Of course, I cannot expect much since it's quite affordable, $5.50 to be exact. 

This applies like any other Essence mascaras except that it has a huge ass wand. It is made of fiber bristles. If you're into plastic wand then this is definitely not for you. Though it's big, it does not grip onto my lashes well enough. If you see my lashes close up, you will know that they are sparse and thin. So what I normally look for in a mascara is volume. Despite the name "get BIG lashes", this does not give the volume I need. However, one thing for sure is that this mascara does holds the curls very well. In fact, most of the Essence mascaras that I've tried so far does a pretty good job in holding the curls.

Due to its ability to hold the curls, this makes the perfect everyday mascara. It helps to open up tired looking eyes. If you're the sort who likes minimal makeup then go for this! It gives the lashes the lift without adding drama. You can get hold of get BIG lashes mascara at your nearby Watsons pharmacy.
