Smokey Black

The ever classic black smokey eyes. I applied NYX Retractable Eyeliner in Black to prime the lids as well as acting as a base for the black eye shadow later on. After which, I go in with Faint from UD Naked Basics palette for that transition colour. This step is optional. Once blending is done, find any black eye shadow of your choice and start packing onto the lids. Gradually, building up the intensity until you get the desired colour or in this case, darkness. I used Crave from the same palette. Keep in mind about fallout. Thankfully, Crave didn't have much of a fallout to begin with.

Smoke out the bottom lids too. Make sure to lined the upper and lower waterline. No stark of white or any shade should be seen here. If you wish, apply some falsies for some drama. I didn't because I was too lazy to do it. Heh. Move on to your base and do it like you normally would. Doubled up your blush game as you do not want to appear dead. Choice of lipstick, again, up to you. I opt for a Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Lipstick in 03. It is a nude pinky shade that compliments the dark eyes. You can also go with a red lipstick for that fiesty femme fatale look! Last but not least, if you like a little bit of shine, apply those highlighters on to high points of the face. And the look is complete!

Till the next makeup post!
